“La Lôyane” is the historic name of the locality where the estate was built. “Lôyane” is thought to refer to a territory, a den occupied by wolves in ancient times.

Coming from a long family of winegrowers spanning 4 generations, Domaine la Lôyane was created in 2000 by Romain and his parents. A small, family-run operation, the 20 hectares of cultivated land are spread over the communes of Rochefort du Gard, Saint Laurent des Arbres and Saze. The vineyard benefits from A.O.C. terroirs: Cru de Lirac, Côtes du Rhône, Côtes du Rhône Villages.

Benefiting from an exceptional geographical and geological situation, the vineyard is managed with respect for the environment. If we believe that wine is a hymn to nature, then this is the winemaker’s job: to master the alchemy between Earth and Plant.

An interpreter of terroirs and a sculptor of nature, the winemaker inscribes his personality in his wines.

The estate’s wines are created in the pure tradition of the Southern Rhône Valley. The wines possess the typical and original characteristics of the region: Power, Finesse, Elegance and unmistakable black fruit aromas.
