“The 2016 Lirac Cuvee Marie is a selection of the estate’s oldest vines (mainly centenarian Grenache) aged in demi-muids. Cola, plum and mulberry notes pick up hints of grilled meat in this medium to full-bodied effort, which come across as slightly open-knit and easy to drink. I’d opt to enjoy this over the next 3-4 years.”
