GUIDE HACHETTE 2016
Côtes du Rhône rouge, Cuvée TRADITION 2014, 2**, France
” Half-grenache, half-syrah, this cuvée Tradition opens with pleasant, original scents of dried alpine hay, soon replaced on aeration by minty freshness and scents of iris. A floral side that also sets the (right) tempo on the palate, where the wine reveals itself to be supple and round, with fine, silky tannins and a nicely liquorice finish. “
– Lirac rouge 2013, 1*
” A velvety wine. Delicate chocolate notes combine with generous aromas of macerated fruit (raspberry, blackberry) and cherries in brandy. A mon chéri side to the wine, with a silky, supple, finely tannic palate. Feminine, some would say. Best drunk young, although it will age well.. “
